At The Apprenticeship Community, we care about the safety of apprentices, trainees and their fellow employees. Just like physical illness, mental illness can have a significant impact on employee safety. We want to help employers and their employees to build mentally healthy workplaces, where everyone is set up for success.
Our Good to Go Mental Health Awareness Initiative has been designed to raise awareness about the importance of good mental health in the workplace and to support employers, apprentices and trainees to take care of their own mental health.
On this site you will find a suite of resources that can be used by apprentices/trainees and their employers (and fellow employees). They range from apps and online tools to help individuals assess their own mental health right through to training to help you recognise the signs that something is wrong with your work mates. The resources have been developed in partnership with the Black Dog Institute and MATES in Construction, who both work tirelessly to raise awareness about the importance of good mental health in the workplace.
