What is an Apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is a structured training arrangement which usually lasts for 36-48 months. The training combines practical experience with complementary off-the-job training with a Registered Training Organisation. You will be employed for the duration of your apprenticeship, provided you attend work and undertake your training tasks.

You can undertake an apprenticeship on a full-time or part-time basis. Once you’ve completed your apprenticeship, you will be issued with a nationally recognised qualification and possess practical job skills which are highly valued by many employers.
