The Apprenticeship Community Gives Back

The Apprenticeship Community takes great pride in being an active member of the WA community. Which is why our staff are given the opportunity to take a day out from their regular work to volunteer for local charitable organisations that need an extra helping hand.

This year, all The Apprenticeship Community team members from across WA spent the day at Shenton Park Dog Refuge Home. Shenton Park is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the rescue, care and re-homing of dogs. Established in 1935, it is one of the oldest animal welfare agencies in Australia. Every year, Shenton Park takes in hundreds of dogs that have been abused, neglected or are simply no longer wanted.

Our team members helped out by tending the beautiful gardens and cleaning up the grounds. They also got to play and interact with a litter of adorable puppies that were new to the shelter.

The Apprenticeship Community would like to extend its thanks to Shenton Park’s Volunteering Coordinator, Chelsey Davies, for all her help and guidance on the day.
